Nose
Dried fig, walnut bark, distant woodsmoke, a thread of mountain honey.
Palate
Toasted barley, candied orange, dark chocolate. The Kallmet finish brings stewed cherry and clove.
Finish
Long, dry, mineral — like cold stone after rain.
Provenance
From Korab Massif, Northern Albania.
Water from the Drin, malted barley from the valleys above Shkodër, distilled in copper pot stills and matured in a stone warehouse where the temperature changes slowly. We don’t chill-filter and we don’t add colour.
