Nose
Pine resin, vanilla pod, hot bread crust.
Palate
Big, oily, untamed — caramel, black pepper, scorched orange peel.
Finish
Warm and resinous. Add water to coax out the orchard fruit.
Provenance
From Drin River Valley.
Water from the Drin, malted barley from the valleys above Shkodër, distilled in copper pot stills and matured in a stone warehouse where the temperature changes slowly. We don’t chill-filter and we don’t add colour.
